Talk to HTS
Religious community / multi-program campus · Immaculata, PA

Hundreds of endpoints, one agreement, and a helpdesk the sisters no longer think about

A multi-program religious community doesn't have a CIO. The campus runs the full mix — residential buildings, retreat houses, the motherhouse, a school — and so does the IT estate. HTS brought it all under one managed-services roof.

Scale: Hundreds of endpoints · multi-program campus · multi-year

The shape of the engagement

The HTS Managed stack covers the full campus — Sentinel, NetOps, RMM, Helpdesk, AccessOps, HTS Cellular. Every device reports to Mission Control. Patches, firmware, configuration backups — all on a documented cadence.

What we walked into

Religious communities often have IT estates that grew up in pieces: a switch here, a server there, a wireless mesh from a previous decade. There was no single source of truth for what was deployed where.

Before HTS, the helpdesk was one part-time technician, a few volunteers, and a lot of patience. The response to most issues was "call Sister Mary, she knows a guy."

What we did

HTS deployed a full HTS Managed stack: Sentinel, NetOps, RMM, Helpdesk, AccessOps, and HTS Cellular. Every device now reports to Mission Control. Patches are pushed on a documented cadence. Firmware is current. Configuration backups are taken daily.

The Helpdesk board is the human layer. The RMM board handles the proactive layer. Sister Mary still knows a guy — but the guy now works at HTS, and he has a ticket queue.

What changed

The pattern HTS sees:

The sisters focus on the mission, not the network
A multi-program campus runs on a network that just works. The HTS NOC and the Helpdesk handle the operational layer. The community doesn't have to think about it.
Routine maintenance is automated
The RMM agent catches the things humans would miss — the server that's running low on disk, the access point that's gone offline, the workstation that's behind on patches. The NOC routes them before anyone notices.
Multi-year continuity
The campus has been on HTS for several years. The agreement auto-renews annually. The staff has changed, the network has scaled, and the operational pattern has held.

“HTS brought a level of operational discipline to our campus IT that we could never have achieved on our own. The sisters no longer worry about the network.”

— Provincial Leadership, Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
